Medical Oncology Department is the department that provides management and systemic treatment of patients diagnosed with cancer. All cancer patients are evaluated in coordination with Pathology, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology and Interventional Radiology departments with a multidisciplinary approach in the Medical Oncology department before their treatment.
In the Medical Oncology department, hormonotherapies, chemotherapies, smart molecules (targeted therapies) treatments and immunotherapies are applied.
There is an outpatient and daily treatment unit in the Medical Oncology department. When deemed necessary, patients are treated in inpatient services.
